Porsche 924 Carrera GT, Part 2: The Journey to Hungary
This is Part 2 of our Porsche 924 Carrera GT restoration series. Start with Part 1: Found in Japan.
With the inspection done and the interior stripped in the UK, the car was ready for the next stage. That meant a road trip across Europe to Hungary.
The journey started at the port of Dover.
From there it was across the continent and over the Alps, with a Carrera GT that hadn't moved under its own power since the 1980s riding along behind.
A few fuel stops along the way, including one in Austria, gave us the chance to check the straps and the car.
And finally, Hungary.
