Bearing bushing shift linkage and release lever clutch for Porsche 928

This plastic bushing is installed in two positions in the 928.

First, the bushing can be used to overhaul the shift linkage bearing by replacing the bushing in the joint piece of the guide tube. 

Also, this bearing is inserted in the ball cup of the release lever and should always be checked when replacing the clutch.
Only with the bearing intact is it ensured that the release lever can accurately actuate the release bearing and that the clutch has a good pressure point.
