This screw is for the 924/944 transmissions and closes the oil fill and drain hole. When the transmission oil is changed after decades, the screws are correspondingly rusty and the hexagon socket rarely survives disassembly without damage. It is recommended that they be replaced when the transmission oil is changed. The oil drain plug also fits 911 G models with the 915 transmission.
