The oil return tubes between the cylinder head and crankcase are eaten away by corrosion over the years. Oil loss and the risk of dirt in the engine oil are the result.
Rusted or leaking return tubes should therefore be replaced immediately.
Replacing the tubes is standard during a comprehensive engine overhaul.
We have the tubes in our program as a one-piece version for the major engine overhaul or as a split version for a simple repair.
