This high quality trunk seal fits all 924, 944 and 968. Contrary to other offers, this seal is closed in one piece and thus without a gap at the joint. It is characterized by a high accuracy of fit and a high quality rubber compound.
With a new profile seal of this type, you eliminate interior noise and the penetration of dripping water into your vehicle.
The original seal from Porsche, for one, has a viscoplastic sealant that drips out in hot weather and doesn't really add any value. The closed profile brings a better sealing effect as there is no shock as a weak point.
We also have an open profile seal in our program for less installation work (disassembly of the gas shocks).
On vehicles with rear wipers, the gas shock absorbers cannot be easily removed.
Here, the hinges may have to be disassembled.
