V-belt for Porsche 911 G 3.0 930 -'79 alternator fan 10mm

This belt drives the engine fan and alternator via the crankshaft. There are a number of different V-belts on the 911 G model. In our store you will find the correct, so-called "narrow V-belt", for your model. Note that on the 911 3.0 SC the length of the belt is different. The limit is at the indicated chassis number. In case of doubt, please feel free to contact us. By the way, this alternator V-belt is also always part of the standard on-board tool kit for the Porsche 911 F/G.

The belt for the fan wheel was replaced on the part of Porsche some time ago from 9.5 mm to 10 mm width. Since then there are problems with the durability of the belts. They are too much under tension and tend to tear faster. We therefore recommend using the narrower version, this can be found under part number 3877.
