Heat exchanger, left, 039256091A - VW Type 2 2.0 / Porsche 914 Used - torn shell

Used original left-side heat exchanger, part number 039 256 091 A. Parts catalogues list the 039 256 091 A / 092 A pair as the heat exchangers for the VW Type 2 (Bay window bus) 2.0 litre engine, which is the same Type 4 engine family as the Porsche 914. Please check that it fits your car before buying, and ask if you are unsure.

It is complete with both flanges: the curved front pipe and the rear flange that joins the silencer.

Condition: the outer shell is torn and split where the pipe leaves it at the rear flange end. There are also scratches and dents on the shell, and surface rust and soot all over. The flanges are intact. The inside has not been checked. It is suitable for repair or restoration.
