Porsche 914 transmission support crossmember, cast 914.375.181.05 Used

Used original cast transmission support crossmember (gearbox carrier bar) for the Porsche 914. The casting number is 914 375 181 05. Group 375 in the Porsche 914 parts catalogue covers the transmission suspension / mounting parts.

It is a long cast bar with a pivot boss and threaded stud at each end, two rubber buffers on top and a large oval eye in the centre section. One end also has its clamp plate.

Condition: there is surface rust all over, and the casting is solid and straight. Both rubber buffers are present but aged and worn on top. The threads on the end studs are usable. It would benefit from blasting and painting, and from new rubbers, before fitting.

Please note: the number on the part is a casting number, so the Porsche catalogue part number for the finished part may be different. Please check it against your car before buying, and ask if you are unsure.

Please see the photos for the exact condition.
