Porsche 914 transmission support crossmember, cast 914.375.181.05 Used

Used original cast transmission support crossmember (gearbox carrier bar) for the Porsche 914. It is the same type as casting number 914 375 181 05, although the casting number on this one is too worn to read clearly. Group 375 in the Porsche 914 parts catalogue covers the transmission suspension / mounting parts.

It is a long cast bar with a pivot boss at each end, two rubber buffers on top with their threaded studs, and a large oval eye in the centre section. On this one the end bosses are bare, with no studs or clamp plate fitted.

Condition: there is surface rust all over, and the casting is solid and straight. Both rubber buffers and their studs are present, but the rubbers are aged. It would benefit from blasting and painting, and from new rubbers, before fitting.
