This narrow V-belt is for driving the 924S as well as 944/968 servo pumps on vehicles with servo. The servo pump is driven by the crankshaft via the V-belt. The replacement of the belt is easily and quickly done via the turnbuckle of the pump. Caution, the tensioners of the servo pumps are often seized and heavily rusted. Soaking with rust solvent is recommended before the turnbuckle key surfaces are affected. Ensure proper belt tension so that the belt does not yaw even in wet conditions and high steering input.
